While the translation of MiiR means peace, the essence is community. In true pacific northwest spirit, MiiR Flagship took the form of a space with shared interests in coffee, beer, bikes and an opportunity to share with our community what giving means to us.
“We've created a space where community can gather while using MiiR products to enjoy the best coffee and a wide variety of beverages. We're a retail space made even better with coffee, beer and space to gather with friends,” said General Manager, Naomi Helbling. She is tasked with finding the balance between the traditional retail experience and storytelling. “At MiiR Flagship, you can touch our products & learn about our impact partners and current give projects.”
Not just a coffee shop, not just a bar, MiiR Flagship positions itself as a meeting place, and shared idea space, and most importantly social enterprise mecca. Flagship provides space to experience the give in action, allowing the community see the who, what, why, and how behind the projects.

Giving is the heart of the MiiR brand, as the company continues to grow, so does the giving impact. Every store purchase supports the MiiR give. Each item in the store is positioned with a purpose, from the bikes, bottles, and bags on display, to the pour or pull from behind the bar. Each product category has a dedicated trackable give. What we call Product to Project. Behind the bar, we partner with roasters and brewers who have a shared belief in giving, sustainability, and top notch taste.
“At its highest level the MiiR Give is a deep commitment to building a company which designs, creates, and sells product with an embedded giving component to it...a giving component which empowers others and is not a handout. The MiiR Give is way more than a corporate priority - it's who we are to our very core," stated Chief Impact Officer Nick MacPhee.
