Product Description
We call it the MiiR Food Canister, but this capsule can hold just about anything. Made of durable stainless steel and clothed in a Hardshell™ powder coat, its contents are protected and maintain temperature with double-wall vacuum insulation. A buttery smooth lid twists open for hands of all sizes – even the littlest, school-going ones – and won’t lock under pressure. Other must-have features? Interior measure markers and a removable nesting bowl.
Care
Wash before first use. Hand wash recommended. Lid top rack dishwasher safe. Do not freeze, do not microwave, do not bleach, do not overfill.
CAUTION: Choking hazard, may contain small parts not suitable for children under 3 years. When filled with hot liquids and keep hot liquids out of reach of children. *Note the Press-fit Slide Lid is not leakproof.

Do I have to pay for shipping?
MiiR offers free standard ground shipping within the contiguous United States for orders $75 and over. Standard ground orders under $75 are subject to a flat rate shipping fee of $9.95 USD. Expedited and international rates, if applicable, will be calculated in the checkout once you have entered your shipping address. A shipping charge will be applied to your final order in all other scenarios.
When will my order ship?
We do our best to ship all orders within 2 business days (M-F) from the date of purchase. Orders placed after 7:00 AM PST will be processed the next business day.
Orders with personalized items take 3-5 business days to be processed.

I put a cold 12 oz beverage can and surround it with ice to leave in my car at the trailhead. Even after three days cooking in a black car in the middle of summer I've come back from the mountains to a refreshing treat. Highly recommended!

The food canisters are amazingly handy. I first made steel cut oats with recommended 7 minute cook time by preheating with a small amount of hot water then combining oats, water, walnuts and raisins and letting it sit. It was ready in 30 minutes but I let it sit for another hour. Delicious. I made a rice and bean mix in the jar at work and it’s far better than micowaving. I liked my 16 ounce so much that I bought white 24 ounce on sale.

I love this canister! I feel like this is the hot food canister that I've been looking for years. I bought it to take hot lunches with me to grad school, but I've also gotten a lot of use out of it on roadtrips as well. I always pre-heat it by filling it with boiling water for 5-10 mins before putting my food in and I've found that it works great!
