Our Community of Impact: B Corp Partner Spotlights

Why B Corp Month Matters

Every March, B Corp Month invites consumers and companies alike to ask a simple but powerful question: what kind of business do you want to support?

For the growing number of environmentally conscious shoppers looking for eco-friendly products and purpose-driven brands, B Corp certification is one of the most credible signals in the market. To earn it, companies must meet rigorous standards for social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability — proving that profit and purpose are not in conflict.

They can work together. They have to.

MiiR and the B Corp Standard

MiiR became a Certified B Corporation in 2014.  Not as a marketing move, but as a natural extension of how the company was already operating. Responsible sourcing, thoughtful product design, and partnerships built around shared values had always been part of the DNA.

In 2025, MiiR proudly recertified as a B Corp for the fifth consecutive time.

Each recertification cycle is more rigorous than the last, and each one reflects a genuine recommitment, not just to meeting the standard, but pushing past it.

B Corp Month is a moment to step back and recognize what that commitment looks like in practice. It means the factories we work with, the materials we choose, and the partners we collaborate with are all held to a higher standard.

And it means we get to celebrate the brands in our community who are doing the same.

Meet Our B Corp Partners

We are proud to collaborate with certified B Corp brands who share our belief that business can be a force for good. United by shared values, rigorous standards, and a commitment to responsible practices, these partners help bring MiiR products to life while driving measurable social and environmental impact.

This B Corp Month, we asked each partner one question:

What does it mean to you to be a B Corp brand?

Equator Coffee

Equator Coffee has been roasting with intention since 1995 — one of the earliest specialty coffee brands to make social and environmental responsibility a core part of doing business, not an afterthought. As a certified B Corp and the first coffee company to become a California Benefit Corporation, Equator has long believed that how you do something matters as much as what you do.

"At Equator, our mission has always been bigger than coffee. Since 1995, we’ve believed that what we do and how we do it matters. We center people and planet, using our platform to drive positive change. Being a B Corp is an ongoing practice of asking hard questions, listening closely, and finding better ways to operate with care and transparency. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made, and even more committed to the work still ahead."

PAKA Apparel

PAKA Apparel was founded to answer a question most of us have never had to ask: do you know where your clothing came from, what it’s made of, or who made it? Since 2016, PAKA has built its supply chain around alpaca fiber sourced from the Andes, partnering directly with alpaquero families and weavers in Peru to create performance apparel that is healthier for people and the planet.

"PAKA started to mend a disconnect: do you know where your clothing came from, what it’s made of, or who made it? Since 2016, our mission has always been to create clothing with alpaca fiber and other materials that are healthier for people and the planet, while uplifting the communities where our products come from. For us, being a B Corp is more than a certification. It’s a commitment to continuing to build with intention, innovate responsibly, and support the alpacas, alpaquero families, and weavers who are at the heart of our supply chain in Peru."

Finisterre

Finisterre was built for people who love the ocean and refuse to trash it. The UK-based surf and outdoor brand has made environmental responsibility central to its product development since day one — from recycled fabrics to transparent supply chains — and B Corp certification gave them an independent framework to measure and push that commitment further.

"B Corp was a proud milestone for us, and the work hasn’t stopped since. Our founding commitments to Product, Environment and People are at the core of how we do business, with B Corp certification providing an independent framework to measure our impact and keep raising the bar. It’s more than a badge. It’s a commitment to keep improving and to do better for our team, our communities and our planet."
